Wow, after going through a whole string of difficult missions, the final one (Ascension) was almost anticlimactic, like it should have gone a little longer and been a bit tougher. Still in all, I suppose I learned my lessons well in the previous missions, which is why the final one was almost a walk in the park. In the immortal words of Sun Tzu, "A battle is won before it is ever fought."

BTW, another lesson learned from Haven that I forgot to mention: It is important to try to keep your finances in the black most of the time. This is because in order to keep your technological edge you need to be ready to quickly research new technologies the moment they become available.

Anyway, what can I say? It's a great game.
