We are talking Euros :)

EUR 12.95 - 25% discount = 9.71€
9.71€ * 5 = 48.5€

What would I want with 5 copies anyway? Just one will be enough to enjoy the game ;) . I'm glad it won't be as expensive as Spore was, I don't really have 50€ at the moment

Spore was a rip-off. An overly advertised "game" that really didn't live up to any of the hype IMO. I'm glad I didn't pay anything for it. And besides, EA's games are so ridiclously expensive that I wouldn't buy one anyway. And why should I pay that much for a game when you find excellent games such as LoA for bargain prices of less than 15$ :D

But I digress, to stay on topic (somewhat): LoA really is what Spore's space phase should have been to be at all enjoyable. Now all we need is a sandbox mode with an open ended universe with hundreds of solar system to explore and dozens of alien races to make peace or war with

I tried Spore before I was going to buy it.
A game with that kind of DRM better has to be GOOD before I buy it.
It wasn't good enough. Heck MoO3 was better.

I didn't know MoO before Spore, but after I read about it some time later, I thought exactly that... The only problem with it is that it's getting a little old by now... don't mean to criticize older games, it's just that my stupid monitor always has big trouble to adjust when screen resolutions change :(

About Spore being a rip-off: I think the hype was about this first video I mentioned earlier... pretty much every cool feature shown or mentioned in this video was removed in later development.

Glad that Sandbox is on the wishlist, I really enjoy open-ended gameplay^^

Estelyen MoO2 was great (for it's time). MoO3 tried to much and bombed because of that.

I actually still start up Dosbox with the original MoO every so often when I need my 4X fix. I like the clutterless style of the early game that was lost with the later versions.
